Pick the input role before the model name

InputMeaningDo not assume
Starting imageThe intended first frame of the animation. That every reference image is automatically the first frame.
End frameA target finish where the route supports it.Support on every Turbo/standard variant.
Reference image setAppearance or identity constraints in a supported mode.Identical behaviour to a starting-frame route.
Source videoA motion/edit reference for a compatible workflow. That a still-image route can accept a video.

From photo to reviewed clip

  1. Use a photo you own or are licensed to animate; obtain permission for identifiable people.

  2. Choose a documented image-to-video route and confirm its input role, duration and delivery ratio.

  3. Crop the source to the intended frame without hiding required product geometry or facial features.

  4. Upload it as the starting image. Describe movement, not a completely new scene.

  5. Check the current estimate before generating. Start with a short available duration.

  6. Inspect hands, face, labels, reflections and the final frame. Edit or retry failures before exporting.

A first motion brief

Untested example: “Animate this starting image as one continuous shot. The mug stays still; a thin ribbon of steam rises. Slow camera push-in, stable window light, no added objects, captions or music.”

For a person, ask for a small head turn or a glance before a full-body action. For a product, keep its silhouette fixed and move the camera or lighting. These are guidance choices, not promises of output fidelity.

Repair the source before adding complexity

A low-detail or heavily cropped face gives the model little identity evidence. A blurry label is unlikely to become reliable brand typography through animation. Improve the source or add final text in an editor.

If you need a performance transferred from another clip, use a motion-reference route instead of stretching an image-only prompt. If you need dialogue, verify native audio and review pronunciation and lip movement separately.
